211 Information line – 2-1-1 is the telephone number that connects you to health and human services in Snohomish County. Looking for rent assistance, job training, food, shelter, help for an aging parent, counseling for a teen, or a support group? These are just some of the hundreds of services 2-1-1 can help you access. The North Sound 2-1-1 call center serves Snohomish, Skagit, Island, San Juan, and Whatcom counties. It is open Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. If the crisis can’t wait until the next business day, call the Crisis Line at (800) 584-3578. Also, see www.uwsc.org for other United Way services.
American Art Therapy Association
The American Art Therapy Association, Inc. (AATA) is a national association dedicated to the belief that the creative process involved in the making of art is healing and life-enhancing. Founded in 1969, AATA is a not-for-profit organization of approximately 4,750 professionals and students that has established standards for art therapy education, ethics, and practice. AATA committees actively work on professional and educational development, national conferences, regional symposia, publications, governmental affairs, public awareness, research, and other activities that enhance the practice of art therapy.
Changes Parent Support Network.
The CHANGES Parent Support Network, located in the state of Washington, was founded in 1996 as a spin-off from a Tough Love group. We provide support, education, and service to parents struggling with teens and adolescents who are engaging in self-destructive or acting-out behaviors such as truancy and failing grades, defiant, rebellious or out-of-control behavior, running away, drug and alcohol abuse, illegal activities, aggressive and/or addictive behaviors and attempt suicide.
Provides an opportunity to report abuses on the internet.

The Evergreen Art Therapy Association (EATA) is an affiliate chapter of the American Art Therapy Association (AATA), with jurisdiction over the state of Washington.
National Institute of Mental Health
This is a wonderful site for accurate information on all types of mental health issues.
NetSmartz® is an interactive, educational safety resource from the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children® and Boys & Girls Clubs of America for children (ages 5-17), parents, guardians, educators, and law enforcement that uses age-appropriate, 3-D activities to teach children how to stay safer on the internet. The NetSmartz Workshop can be accessed at www.NetSmartz.org and www.NetSmartzKids.org.
Providence Intervention Center
The Providence Everett Intervention Center for Assault and Abuse promotes emotional and physical healing for people victimized by sexual violence and provides 24-hour crisis line service, medical and legal advocacy, medical examinations, support group services, community education, and referrals. The Center has assisted thousands of survivors, their friends and family members in finding their own personal paths to healing.
